YPSILANTI, Mich. – Buckle your seat belts for a thrilling ride in the sky for the annual Thunder over Michigan Air Show at Willow Run Airport.
"I like to look at the planes, the engines. They are all different types of engines, a lot of big horsepower," said Bob Zimmerman who comes to the show every year.

Planes like the C-47 cargo and troop transport aircraft are on hand to view. It's just one of many things you can see at the air show.
There are many twists and turns to watch for during the aerobatic show.
Sean D. Tucker is the man behind those moves in the sky. Tucker has been dancing with the clouds for more than three decades.
"It's almost cartoonish. It does cartoonish figures in the sky. It flips and twirls, twists and tumbles through the sky. It goes three hundred miles an hour," he said. "This is probably the best show in North America."
On the tarmac, history buffs can tour old war aircrafts.
"It's a celebration of our history. It's a celebration of our heritage. Willow Run was very very important during World War II, production of the B-24 bomber," said B-17 pilot Ray Hunter.
