AP Projects: Donald Trump wins Texas in presidential election

The Associated Press is projecting that Republican presidential candidate and incumbent Donald Trump won the state of Texas in the General Election.

As of 1:07 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, AP is calling the presidential race in the state of Texas in favor of Donald Trump.

Trump will receive 38 electoral votes from Texas. A presidential candidate requires at least 270 electoral votes to win the election.
