DETROIT – Teacher Appreciation Week is actually TWO weeks long this year, and rightfully so.
Businesses are celebrating by offering some freebies and discounts to the teachers we love.

Here are some of the freebies and discounts we were able to find for teachers:
Chipotle: On May 2, teachers can enjoy a free burrito, bowl, salad or taco when they buy one. Teachers must have a school I.D. to get the deal. Limit is one per person and for in-restaurant only.
Jimmy John's: This isn't only for teachers, but Jimmy John's is offering $1 subs on Tuesday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., not including delivery.
World of Beer: On May 9, teachers can get a free Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider or Samuel Adams with an I.D., or $5 off their check.
Barnes & Noble: Teachers get 20 percent off items for their school if they join educators program.
Which Which: Teachers who are a rewards member get a free cookie with the purchase of a sandwich. Valid between May 1 - May 5.
Chick-fil-A: Many stores are offering free sandwich on May 2. Check with your local store before ordering.
Old Navy: Teachers can take 20 percent their total purchase during Teacher Appreciation Week.
