ROYAL OAK, Mich. – The city of Royal Oak has paid tribute to Glenn Frey, the Eagles co-founder who died last month. He was 67.
Glenn Frey Drive was dedicated Thursday.

The Royal Oak School Board voted to rename part of Willis Avenue after Frey. There were no homes along the street which meant no address changes for residents.
Frey was a native of Royal Oak and started his career in Detroit. He graduated in 1966 from Dondero High, which is now Royal Oak Middle School.
The Eagles greatest his collection for the mid-1970s and “Hotel California” are among the best-selling albums in history.
