Little Caesars Arena sells out first 10 consecutive performances

Blockbuster shows include Kid Rock, Paul McCartney, Fall Out Boy, and The Eagles

Kid Rock headlined the opening event at Little Caesars Arena on Sept. 12

DETROIT – Little Caesars Arena opened with 10 consecutive concert sellouts.

On Friday, 313 Presents announced that Little Caesars Arena had sold out for its first 10 concerts held at the brand new multi-purpose arena.

The string of successful sold out shows started with six performances by Kid Rock, with openers Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and Sweet Tea Trio. This was followed by Grammy Award winner Ed Sheeran, with opener James Blunt. Paul McCartney added a second date at the venue after his first had sold out, providing two sell-out performances. Closing out the 10-concert streak Thursday was Imagine Dragons, with special guests Grouplove and K.Flay.

It is unknown if this streak of sold out tickets will continue with Tuesday’s Fall Out Boy concert and The Eagles' concert on Friday.
