Good Health: New heart procedure at Henry Ford means less open-heart surgeries
DETROIT – Every beat of a heart pumps blood through an aortic valve into the body.
By the time someone turns 65, that valve has opened and closed more than two billion times and serious problems can develop.
Dr. Frank McGeorge had a look at a new development in heart surgery that make procedures safer and less invasive.
