Detroit siblings behind Orley win prestigious fashion award

They won the 2016 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear

Two Detroit siblings recently won a major award in the New York fashion scene.

Alex Orley and Matthew Orley, along with Matthew's wife, Samantha Orley, won the Swarovski Award for Menswear at the 2016 CFDA Awards on June 6.

The annual event is a veritable who's who in the fashion and celebrity world. Just a taste? Beyonce was named Fashion Icon of the Year, Joel McHale of Community fame hosted, and Jennifer Hudson performed.

The Orley siblings won for their company, Orley, and its lines of high-end knitwear.
