Local artist takes art to a new level

We have all doodled before, whether it being on scrap paper or in a notebook.

Illustrator Jodi Lynn Burton, however, takes her doodling to the next level with her unique designs ranging from city portraits to distinctive scenes of drawings.

Starting off as a photographer, Burton realized her passion was a different kind of a art. She had been doodling her whole life and realized her true love for drawing. With motivation from her friend to do an art show with her doodles, she ended up selling out of her very first show.

Burton finds her drawing as a stress relief. Her inspiration also comes from words on post-it notes she writes out, which then get drawn out.
