Whether you go to the movies or stay at home, you can catch some entertainment this weekend. “Argylle” hits the theaters and “Orion and the Dark” streams on Netflix, both on February 2nd, and movie reviewer Greg Russell is back to talk about them in this weeks Reel Talk.
“Argylle” stars some big names including Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dua Lipa, and Henry Cavill. The movie is about Bryce Dallas Howard’s character who is a “mystery novelist” and has written something with her spy Argylle. The things she has written are beginning to come true, so she gets involved to “save the world” with her cat. Russel rates this 3.5 out of 5 reels due to the story being a little “disjointed.”
Newly animated movie “Orion and the Dark” stars Grand Rapids native Paul Walker Hauser and is out on Netflix. This movie is about a kid who becomes friends with the darkness and the darkness teaches him that it is not so bad in the dark. Russel rates this movie 4 reels with how it is something for everyone to enjoy.
In honor of Groundhog Day, Russell also discusses the classic movie “Groundhog Day.”
