Experience a New York Bodega in Metro Detroit

For this week’s Takeout Tuesday, you can experience New York style bodega without leaving Metro Detroit. Owner Mohamed Almulaiki and manager Al Hassan Almulaiki appeared “Live in The D” to talk about the Bodega Bros experience.

Mohamed Almulaiki says he traveled to New York and worked at his family’s bodega restaurant and brought it back to Ann Arbor. Food and family inspired Bodega Bros after see how the bodega brought family together in both New York and Michigan.

Bodega Bros is Ann Arbor and is all about wraps and sandwiches made with what you want, or you can try one of their signature creations. They also have options like acai bowls and smoothies.
