These awkward moments might make you cringe

Would you rather fill awkward silence or sit in it?

Today is National Awkward Moments Day and to talk about the occasion comedian Mike Boner and Jason Hall with RiDetroit, joined “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest-host, comedian Coco.

When it comes to how you respond with doing something embarrassing, Amare, Boner, and Hall all laugh it off. For Coco, “It depends on how much damage is done,” she said.

On the other hand, when witnessing an awkward moment, Coco says that, “If the person that is experiencing the situation first hand is laughing, then you can laugh and offer your assistance.”

Awkward silence, whether it’s a date or a large gathering, is another “What do I do?” moment. For Amare, it depends on where she is to either fill the silence or let it be. “Awkward moments are built in anyways,” Hall brings up, so he just lets the silence be.
