Actors from this NBC Comedy discuss award nominations

It’s only the first season, but NBC’s Comedy “St. Denis Medical,” is already being nominated for awards. “Live in the D” chatted with two of the shows stars, Allison Tolman and Josh Lawson, who said the comedy shows how hard it is keeping a hospital together, but in a hilarious way.

“Hanging on by a thread, I think it’s safe to say,” Lawson said when describing the dynamic of the show and the team. They both said they also have a lot of fun behind the scenes and don’t believe its a job.

“We have a lot of fun together,” Tolman said. The chemistry comes across on screen, and that may have led to the show receiving 2 Critics Choice Award nominations. A second season of the show has already been ordered as well.

The next episode of St. Denis Medical airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
