DETROIT – Brooklyn Adams, the fiancée of Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, is celebrating her birthday by giving back to teachers and their classrooms.
Adams purchased an entire teacher’s classroom wishlist to help kick off the new school year, according to the St. Brown Foundation.

The foundation is also collaborating with Adams to support additional teacher wishlists.
Adams’ birthday falls in September, which is National Literacy Month.
The timing aligns with the St. Brown Foundation’s mission of helping students strengthen their literacy and vocabulary skills and succeed academically.
The foundation was established in 2025 by NFL brothers Amon-Ra, Equanimeous, and Osiris St. Brown.
Its programs include Rhymes with Reason and Strike for Literacy, which are designed to make learning engaging for students.
Last year, Rhymes with Reason launched at Durfee Elementary-Middle School in Detroit.
The program uses music to help students build vocabulary skills.
The foundation is also preparing for its second annual Strike for Literacy fundraiser, scheduled for Oct. 26.
The event will raise funds to continue supporting children in their educational journey.
The birthday initiative will focus on supporting teachers, who the foundation says play an important role in helping students succeed.
Teachers are encouraged to apply for support through the foundation’s program.
The St. Brown Foundation says its mission is to empower children to reach their full potential through fun and meaningful learning and to encourage students to “shoot for the stars.”
