Detroit actor shares Hollywood journey

A Detroit actor is showing off his skills in the major motion picture “Bob Trevino Likes It.”

The movie is about a woman who is trying to connect with her father. Through that process, she ends up meeting someone else with the same name as her father online and ends up befriending him.

Elam plays the role of a disgruntled office manager in the movie. Elam praised the cast of the film, which stars John Leguizamo and Barbie Ferreira.

“When you’re surrounded by good people it’s a loving experience, and it’s a blessing and pleasure to be there,” Elam said.

There will be a special screening of “Bob Trevino Likes It” on Thursday, March 27th at 7 p.m. at Emagine Birmingham 8.
