Mission Possible teaches kids lessons in the kitchen Culinary classes will be held in Detroit on June 21st
Get ready for a hands-on culinary experience, but it’s not for adults. Instead, this is all about the kids.
Children will have an opportunity to learn cooking skills during the “NourisHER+HIM” cooking classes at Detroit People’s Food Co-op.
The classes are part of an initiative that’s being carried out by Mission Possible, which is a nonprofit organization in Flint.
“Our goal is to build sustainable communities, and one way we do that is through education. So, what better way than to do that with a cooking class for children?” said program director Gianna Oliver.
This will be the first time that Mission Possible is bringing its classes to Detroit. The classes are designed for kids ages 6 to 16.
The “NourisHER+HIM” cooking classes will be held at Detroit People’s Food Co-op on June 21st. Watch the video above or click here for more information.
