As the lazy days of summer fade and a crisp autumn breeze fills the air, fitness and nutrition expert Jody Trierweiler introduced the perfect health reset on “Live In The D” – the September Seven Challenge. This straightforward, impactful initiative is designed to boost energy, improve focus, and elevate overall health.
“September offers a natural transition,” said Trierweiler. “Instead of waiting until January, it’s an ideal time for a fresh start.”
The September Seven Challenge focuses on seven practical areas:
- Sleep Seven Hours: Seven hours of sleep can increase longevity.
- Morning Mindfulness: Dedicate seven minutes each morning to pray, meditate, or set an intention.
- Move Daily: Engage in some form of movement seven days a week, whether it’s walking the dog or dancing.
- 7,000 Steps: Aim for at least 7,000 steps daily for significant cardiovascular benefits.
- Eliminate Soda: Skip soda and canned beverages to improve gut health and bone strength.
- Avoid Seed Oils: Replace seed oils with healthier options like avocado or olive oil.
- Selfless Acts: Shift focus from self to others by performing acts of kindness.
“This challenge is easy and doable,” said Trierweiler. “It’s about making small changes that make a big difference.”
