Third Man Records is not your average record store, and now the shop is celebrating 10 years in Detroit.
“We’re a record store for the record label Third Man Records,” explained Salem Defever with Third Man Records. “We’re also a live music venue, as well as we do all of our vinyl manufacturing on site in Detroit,” she added.
Detroit rocker Jack White is the man behind Third Man Records, which is holding a special celebration on Black Friday.
“It’s Black Friday Record Store Day, but it’s also our 10-year anniversary. So to celebrate, we’re going to have a little bit of a giveaway, as well as some limited edition vinyl available for purchase, and then we’re going to have DJs and our friends bartending for us. So it’ll be a big old party,” Defever said.
