12 year-old boy killed in Highland Park house fire

A 12 year-old boy has been killed in a house fire in Highland Park.

The fire happened on Connecticut in the area of Davison and I-75 just after 5 a.m. Monday morning.

The boy was found unresponsive in a bedroom the 3rd floor of the house.

A second child believed to be in their early teens was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and burns.
