Couple steals valuable Rolex watch from Utica jewelry store

Police request information to aid search


UTICA, Mich. – The search is on for a couple who are accused of swiping a $7,500 Rolex watch Friday from a jewelry store in Utica.

Utica police said the couple entered Jared the Galleria of Jewelry just after 6 p.m. and asked to see the watch. When the man put it on, he shouted, "Go" and fled the store with the woman, police said.

Police said a K-9 tracked the couple's scent to a nearby parking lot, where they might have had a car waiting.
