WALLED LAKE, Mich. – Three women are at the center of a vicious stabbing fight that spilled out of a Walled Lake apartment and into the street early Wednesday morning.
Police say jealousy may have been the motive for a 29-year-old woman to grab a kitchen knife and go after a 24-year-old woman inside a Walled Lake Villa apartment.

Victim found bleeding in road
Police said a 24-year-old woman was found bleeding just after 5 a.m. on Pontiac Trail Road near the apartments.
She is being treated at Botsford Hospital for stab wounds to her arms and hands. She lives with her 2-year-old son in the apartment.
The 29-year-old, who also had injuries to her hands and chest, was taken to a hospital in Novi and is being questioned by police.
A warrant with charges could be issued against her. Police did confiscate a kitchen knife.

What happened inside the apartment?
Police told Local 4 the two women had been fighting inside the apartment at 1249 South Villa Court when it spilled into the parking lot of the Walled Lake Villa apartments, leaving a trail of blood behind. The fight broke out just moments after a man left the dwelling.

Teenager questioned by police
Police said a 17-year-old girl was questioned and released by police. Police said she was uninjured.
She was found by police chasing the 29-year-old in a car.
Where the toddler is now
Child Protective Services is handling the 2-year-old boy's case. He was asleep in the apartment and unharmed.
