Howell man accused of sexting teen girls

HOWELL, Mich. – A 23-year old Howell man is accused of sexting teen girls and is charged with accosting a child for immoral purposes.

James Robert Wickens is in jail and was in court Monday for a preliminary exam.

Wickens allegedly sent text messages to a 14-year-old female family friend.

Investigators also believe he sent the same girl a picture of his genitals.

Authorities also said Wickens asked the family friend and another teen girl to send him

pictures of their private parts. He also allegedly asked the older teen to have sex with him.

Wickens is jailed on a $50,000 bond.
