People woken up by sound of gun shots
Neighbors on Carlisle Street thought their homes were in the middle of a gun range Monday morning.
The violence has struck a nerve with neighbors like James Parker, who says he just doesn't feel safe anymore.
"I heard loud shots," says Parker. "I told my wife to get down. It was pretty quick."
Parker says he was unsure how many gunshots were fired.
"I thought there was some type of confrontation," says Parker.
Signs are posted throughout the neighborhood warning criminals the community is under surveillance. Regardless, this didn't scare away the gun men who sprayed these homes.
"I'd like to see police patrol a little bit more," says Parker.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information related to incident is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-5240.
