Ferdarius Shine was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of assault with intent to murder and one count of felony firearm. DETROIT – A 28-year-old Detroit man who is accused of killing two of his family members and critically wounding his own 7-year-old daughter now faces murder charges.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said Ferdarius Shine is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of assault with intent to murder and one count of felony firearm.

Shine is accused of opening fire on his family last Friday night after talking about Satan, God and the devil.

His mother told police Shine was "possessed." Sources say he left the house screaming, "The Devil made me do it."

Shine's aunt, Santangela Williams, and his grandmother, Geraldine Bates, were killed.

His young daughter suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Shine turned himself into an area hospital the next morning.
