YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Three families have been displaced after a fire damaged three apartments at an Ypsilanti Township apartment complex.

The fire started Sunday evening at the Aspen Chase Apartments.

Firefighters told Local 4 that the fire started between the second floor ceiling and the third floor. It then spread to an outside balcony.

The fire was contained to three units.

Apartment management was working to help find temporary housing for the three families that have been displaced.
