Another round of accumulating snow is expected in Metro Detroit on Friday.
After a few light rounds of snow during the morning, the most widespread and steady snowfall is expected to arrive in Metro Detroit just before noon and persist through Friday afternoon.
An additional 1-3 inches of snow is expected by the evening.
With the additional snow and temperatures near freezing this afternoon, some of the snow may be wet or slushy, and could refreeze tonight, especially on untreated roads, bridges and overpasses.
