Coney dog eating contest to raise scholarship money for DPS students

DETROIT – One of Detroit's old favorites, American Coney Island, will host their 3rd Annual Coney Dog Eating Challenge Thursday, September 12th.

You can become the top dog if you eat the most coney dogs - hot dog complete with bun, chili, mustard and onions - in 10 minutes. You've got to beat the current record-holder, DeSean "Whipdog" Whipple, who ate 10 1/2 coneys last year.
