WESTLAND, Mich. – A suspected drunk driver lost control and crashed Thursday morning into a barbershop in Westland.
The crash happened at Jim Jordan's barbershop on Merriman Road near Ann Arbor Trail.
The driver was taken to a hospital. She is expected to recover, although the barbershop owner tells Local 4 she is lucky to be alive.
A telephone pole was also sheared off prior to her hitting the building.
Clean-up crews have been called to the barbershop to board up the building.
