CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A person has been killed in a fire at a mobile home in Canton.
Canton Fire Chief Joshua Meier said firefighters responded to the scene in the College Park Estates neighborhood just after 4 a.m.

Firefighters searched for the victim, but had to pull back because of the intensity of the fire.
Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters found the victim's body.
"At this time, we have located a victim inside the home. It's unknown at this time who the victim is," Meier said. "I don't suspect any foul play, but until we do our investigation, we're not going to know those answers for sure."
