Dearborn police release photos of cellphone thief
Police: Man stole waitress' cellphone from behind cash register
DEARBORN, Mich. – Dearborn police have released pictures of a man they say stole a waitress' cellphone from behind a cash register on Saturday.
The theft was caught on the restaurant's security cameras.
"The restaurant's security system provided high-quality photographs of the suspect," Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad said. "We are hoping for some assistance from the community in identifying this suspect from these photos. As always, we will dedicate all available resources and enlist the assistance of our regional partners at all levels to identify and apprehend this suspect."
Police describe the thief as a heavy-set white man in his early 30s, with short brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He has multiple tattoos on both forearms
