Detroit Pistons hold contest to makeover school's reading room Pistons partner with Farm Bureau Insurance
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons are accepting submissions from Michigan schools for their Reading Room Makeover contest co-sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance.
Submissions will be accepted through June 1.
The winner's school will see renovations to their library or reading room, including new paint, carpet, furniture and technology.
"Making an impact in our community remains a top priority and what better way to give back than to refresh a Michigan school's reading room or library," said Dennis Mannion, Palace Sports & Entertainment CEO and President. "We are thrilled to be working with Farm Bureau Insurance for a third consecutive year to present this exciting opportunity for our local schools."
The winning school will be announced in July and the new reading room will be unveiled with a special ribbon-cutting event in the fall.
