Man found shot to death in Redford driveway

Victim appears to have been 'specifically targeted,' police say


REDFORD, Mich. – A 23-year-old man was shot to death Thursday night in the driveway of his Redford home.

Police said officers responded at 10 p.m. to a report of gunshots in the 9500 block of Hazleton Street and found the victim in a parked car. The victim was taken to a hospital, but died from his injuries.

Police have not yet released the victim's name, but said it appears he was "specifically targeted."

The only description that police gave of the gunman was that he was tall, thin and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
