University of Michigan football, basketball Facebook pages hacked

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The official Facebook pages for the University of Michigan football and basketball teams have been hacked.

The uncharacteristic posts began around 3 a.m. Wednesday and included "26 stars without underwear on the red carpet," "15 most controversial Mile's pictures," and "Kim Kardashain wearing her little sister's bikini."

Viewer comments on the pages included "Fix your page!!! Stop posting bulls***," "someone fix this page …it's a shame," and "HACKED."

"Fans of U-M Athletics: We want to acknowledge that our Facebook pages for Michigan Football, Basketball, and Athletics have been hacked. Please be patient with us as we work diligently to get this resolved," @Umichfootball tweeted.

The university tweeted this statement: "Our Public Safety & Security, IT, and Athletics are working diligently to rectify the malicious hacking of affected social media properties."
