WAYNE, Mich. – A woman faces a second degree murder charge for her role in a deadly crash Tuesday at Merriman and Van Born roads in Wayne.
A 67-year-old Romulus woman was killed when she was involved in a crash with several vehicles at the intersection.

After an investigation by the Wayne Police Department, one of the drivers, Onika Adrenelle-Cannon Fields, is charged with second degree murder and driving with a suspended license causing death.
Fields pleaded not guilty to the charges on Friday. She is being held at the Wayne County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. Her next court date is Sept. 1.
