DETROIT – Huntington Bank is working to fix double charges on some customer accounts.
The bank said the debit and ATM transaction problems were due to a "processing issue" that happened overnight.
The bank said balances will be corrected Wednesday and related fees will be waived.

Huntington is working to resolve debit and ATM card transactions that double-posted to customer accounts Tuesday. These transactions were limited to the weekend and Monday. We are proactively reaching out to our customers to let them know we are aware of and addressing the issue. We are working to correct impacted customer balances today and will waive any related fees.
