FERNDALE, Mich. – Police say a man was shot in the neck Thursday evening outside a home in Ferndale.
The shooting happened in the 1700 block of E. Hazelhurst Street.

A witness says her boyfriend was shot in the neck before he got out of a vehicle and fell on the lawn.
Police said two men in their 20s approached the couple, who were sitting in their car. The men were armed with handguns. The men pointed the guns at the couple and one of them starting shooting. He continued shooting as they fled.
Ferndale police are investigating.
