McBride Middle School in Belleville evacuated due to bomb threat

McBride Middle School in Belleville was evacuated Friday morning due to a bomb threat, Van Buren Township Public Safety confirmed.

Authorities said everyone is safe. Police swept the school and found no threat.

Students were let back inside the building at about noon Friday.

Authorities originally said students were being sent home with parents. That is not the case. Classes are back in session.
