Roseville police looking for hoverboard thief

Surveillance video shows man taking hoverboard from victim on Pattow Street

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Roseville police on Wednesday released video of a man stealing a hoverboard from the driveway of a home.

Police said the man approached the victim April 16 in the 25000 block of Pattow Street and asked for something to drink. When the victim told him that there wasn't anything, the man made verbal threats and grabbed the hoverboard, police said.

No weapon was seen and the victim wasn't hurt.  Police said the man was last seen running south toward Church Street, where he may have gotten into an older model blue sedan -- possibly a Ford Taurus.

The thief is described by police as a black man in his 30s, 6 feet tall with a tattoo of a cross on his forehead. He was wearing gray pants, a white tank top-type shirt and a white hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head.
