Michigan lawmaker proposes hand-held cell phone ban

TROY, Mich. – Today, the Transportation Improvement Association announced new legislation that will help to keep everyone's eyes on the road.

This new law is designed to save lives, prevent injuries and reduce the amount of distracted driving accidents across metro Detroit.

The law would ban the use of hand-held cell phones while driving.
