ROYAL OAK, Mich. – An incorrect order at a Royal Oak Burger King led to a confrontation between a customer and an employee that was caught on tape.
The disagreement escalated when a woman who was returning food didn't have her receipt she said she didn't receive one. The employee took exception and a back-and-forth argument ensued.
The woman said she not only battled the employee, but also the manager, while trying to get food for her daughter who is gravely ill in the hospital.
"As soon as I walked in, she was just very rude, just mouthing off, and I asked the manager, 'Can you get your employee under control?' She's just escalating a situation that doesn't need to be," Jasmine Chapman said.
The situation got worse, so Chapman grabbed her phone.
"That's when I said, 'OK, well I'm going to record this and show social media how rude you are,'" Chapman said.
Employees at Burger King were instructed not to talk about the incident.
"I just can't understand how some young ones today are so disrespectful, and I want her to know this type of behavior cannot be tolerated and is unacceptable," Chapman said.

Chapman said the hassle came at the wrong time for her, since the original order was for her 26-year-old daughter who is in Beaumont Hospital waiting for a liver transplant.
"I'm already going through enough," Chapman said. "I don't need this from your employees. Can you get control your employees? He disregarded me and even started attacking me."
Police were called to the restaurant, but the employee was gone by the time they arrived.
Royal Oak police said it is conducting more interviews to get a full picture of what happened before making any arrests.
