The National Hurricane Center has announced that Hurricane Matthew has made landfall in South Carolina. Although the storm has weakened to a Category 1, heavy rain and 75 mph winds still have the potential for destruction and flooding.
Hurricane Matthew has claimed the lives of hundreds in the Caribbean and 6 in Florida.
