Kid Rock's childhood home lists for $1.295 million

Bruce Township farm listing notes 'music video was filmed here'

BRUCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Kid Rock's childhood home in Macomb County is on the market, and it's hardly "Born Free."

The sprawling 5.5-acre orchard in Bruce Township, where you can be a "Cowboy," includes a 5,628-square-foot, 4-bedroom/7-bath house, guest house, barn, pool and and tennis courts. List price? A whopping "Bawitaba" $1.295 million.

The "First Kiss" listing for the estate at 70100 Henry Ross Drive notes the Ritchie family -- Kid Rock's name is Bob Ritchie -- has owned the Apple Crest Farm since it was built in 1972. It also notes a "music video was filmed here." It looks like a great place to entertain "All Summer Long."

Kid Rock, born in Romeo, grew up in Macomb County. His dad, Bill Ritchie, was a successful car dealership owner.
