MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Two Oak Park brothers were charged Wednesday with robbing four 7-Eleven stories across Metro Detroit.
Police said Noah David Polonis, 17, and Nicholas Richard Polonis, 25, were arrested for committing armed robberies at two 7-Eleven stores in Madison Heights and 7-Eleven stores in Oak Park and Ferndale.

Police said a man walked into the 7-Eleven store at 815 W. 11 Mile Road at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday, pulled out a handgun and told the clerk to give him money. After taking the money from the clerk, the man left in a gold Ford Taurus.
When police responded to the store, they learned 7-Eleven stores in Ferndale and Oak Park had been robbed by a person matching the man's description.
During the investigation, police received a report of a robbery at the 7-Eleven at 31752 John R. Road at 5:24 p.m., officers said. A man matching the description in the other robberies pulled out a handgun, asked for money and fled the store on foot, police said.
The brothers were arraigned Wednesday on two counts of armed robbery in Madison Heights and one count of armed robbery in Ferndale. They will also be arraigned arraigned on one count of armed robbery in Oak Park.
Both men are being held at the Oakland County Jail on $150,000 bail.
They are scheduled to return to court at 8 a.m. Feb. 22.
