LANSING, Mich. – A new bill is under consideration in Lansing that would turn current educational standards on its head.

House Bill No. 4192 would repeal standards adopted in 2010, which put a focus on Common Core.

The bill aims to make Michigan parents the main authority in their student's education allowing them to opt their child out of any test.
