Police investigating drive-by shooting in Dearborn

DEARBORN, Mich. – Police are asking the public for possible leads in a drive-by shooting from January in Dearborn.

According to police, the shooting happened Jan. 15 at about 2:50 a.m. in the area of Lowrey and Akron streets. Multiple shots were fired at a vehicle with a small caliber handgun.

Surveillance video captured footage of a vehicle of interest.

“Our number one priority is citizen safety, Dearborn police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “When that is jeopardized, we will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice. I am urging the public to come forward and provide information regarding the suspects in this incident.”
