3 Center Line Public Schools reopen after lockdown

CENTER LINE, Mich. – Three Center Line Public Schools have reopened after a police situation on Central Street, police said. 

Academy 21, Center Line High School and Wolfe Middle School were all on lockdown, but the schools dismissed students and have since reopened.

Students who take a bus were dismissed to go home on buses. Students who walk needed to be picked up by his or her parent/guardian at the student's school. Students were not allowed to walk home.

Local 4 was told by a witness that SWAT officers surrounded a house on Central Street.
