The husband opened the door and allowed the deputies into the home saying that his wife was dead, according to authorities. A kitchen knife believed to have been used was found at the home.

The couple’s three children were found on the second floor of the home. They were unharmed and now are in the care of their maternal grandparents.

Noah Ravenscroft was taken to the hospital with self-inflicted injuries. Upon his release from the hospital he was arrested and arraigned on one count of first degree premeditated murder on Jan. 25.
