Inkster police: Unresponsive 7-month-old rushed to hospital; father taken into custody

Emergency crews successful at regaining pulse

INKSTER, Mich. – A 7-month-old girl was rushed to the hospital Thursday after the girl’s father told police the infant was not breathing.

Emergency responders were able to gain a pulse from the infant and transported her to Children’s Hospital in Detroit.

Inkster police said the father has been taken into custody. No further details have been released.
