Police investigating after shooting in Roseville

An alleged assault let to a shooting in Roseville on Aug. 10, 2017.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Four people were arrested Thursday after an assault and shooting in Roseville, police said.

According to police, a group of people drove to a home in the 17000 block of Pasadena Street at about 2 p.m. and began assaulting a man at the house.

The man pulled out a handgun and fired. One of the alleged assailants was hit in the lower left leg.

They then left. The black Acura MDX they were driving in was found in the parking lot of a business on Gratiot Avenue, south of Martin Street. Police said two of the people fled on foot and two stayed with the car. All of them were taken into custody without incident, police said.

The wounded person is in custody at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said the person who shot the gun is cooperating.

The incident is under investigation.
