DETROIT – A 39-year-old man is in critical condition after a fight broke out early Sunday during a party on Detroit’s east side, police said.
Police said there was a party at a home on Helen Street near St. Paul Street for viewing the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather fight. The party spilled into the street at 2:30 a.m. and a fight started.

A man suffered head trauma and was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, police said. It’s unclear who hit the man.
