WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A woman died Friday evening in a bus crash in West Bloomfield Township that closed the intersection of Orchard Lake and Walnut Lake roads.
Officials said a SMART bus was stopped on northbound Orchard Lake Road. The bus was pulling away from the light when a vehicle traveling southbound crossed the line and hit the bus.
Officials said the bus driver saw the woman slumped over the wheel of the vehicle. The crash is being called medical related.
